Description
3Wave Multi-Drop Transponder is composed of one master and two slaves and they are connected each other by add-drop method. It uses one wavelength for Tx and two wavelengths for Rx by CWDM so that it can be designed to transmit all signals through one optic cable at the same time.
After Inputted optic signal to each Transponder is separated to different wavelength by CWDM, it's converted back into RF signal and outputted . At this time, If input optic power is lower than -5dB compared to link loss, PD Alarm is happened.
In order to be modulated to uniform power in the process of E/O conversion, APC(Automatic Power Control) function has built in.
