Description

3Wave Optic Transponder is composed of one master and two slaves so that it's possible to do Point to point communication. Though frequency conversion is used for Diversity function in 2wave system, it adds one more wavelength without any frequency conversion so that it can distinguish transmission route, prevent deterioration and simplify system.

It is designed to transmit TX/RX0/RX1 signal through one optic cable at the same time by using CWDM. After Inputted optic signal to each Transponder is separated to different wavelength, it's converted back into RF signal and outputted.

At this time, If input optic power is lower than -10dB compared to link loss, PD Alarm is happened. In order to be modulated to uniform power in the process of E/O conversion, APC(Automatic Power Control) function has built in.
